Slow 🐌 fashion, living in the present 🎁 I really struggle with energy even 11 months post covid. And it’s taught me to embrace what’s in front of me. To accept passing time. To face impermanence. To be ok with this t-shirt not working initially because the pink fabric was too thin for a fitted top, and try again with a double layer with lace on top; to be ok with the time consuming nature of hand basting the two layers of every piece. One stitch at a time, one breath at a time, we live our imperfect, impermanent lives. I don’t have energy to clean my room for a perfect photo op and I haven’t washed my hair in a scary amount of time.
